Graduate Profiles

Work package 2

Kedge Business School and the TH Köln coordinated this work package. All partners contributed to the achieved results.

WP2 explored the graduate attributes needed for business graduates to contribute meaningfully to sustainable development and green transitions.

The IBE-ReGloMi model bridges conceptual sustainability learning and employer expectations, integrating ethics, responsibility, sustainability (ERS), and internationalisation into business education. It is tailored to the international business context and validated through expert review. The model also incorporates digital and data literacy, highlighting the link between technological and green transitions. It offers business schools a practical and theoretically grounded framework to prepare globally minded graduates for complex, volatile global environments.

Key Results

The results of this work package are

  • 11 co-created future graduate profiles for the core business disciplines, in close consultation with local international businesses and students.
  • a model, which clarifies the connections between internationalisation, ERS and social entrepreneurship, and with the core business disciplines.
  • guidelines on how to apply the model as a tool to articulate intended learning outcomes (ILOs) for each of the relevant business disciplines. The guidelines ensure an integrated approach to internationalisation, ERS and social entrepreneurship
  • a flexible graduate attribute assessment tool by which you can rate the importance of the graduate attributes for your own course, module or discipline.

Within this work package we addressed the need of the partners to enhance their capability for systematic alignment of their curricula with the needs of students and companies for sustainable business models and the new graduate skills.
